Revamped 37 from Harburn Hobbies

Delayed Sir William Arrol is first retooled Lima Class 37

The latest Limited Edition 4mm scale model from Harburn Hobbies is Class 37 No.37 693 Sir William Arrol in triple grey construction livery. The model has been delayed as Harburn have been hard at work with Lima and The Hobby Co on detail improvements to the centre headcode version of the locomotive. Changes include removal of the dividers on the cantrail grilles, blanking off an exhaust port on the roof, removal of excess strapping over the roof line at the No.2 end, removal of lugs on the nose ends and fitting air horns into newly formed slots in the roof. Sir William Arrol is the first of three Lima models produced using the modified tooling; the other two locos are 37 207 William Cookworthy (see Lima news story) and 37 418 An Comunn Gaidhealach, another Limited Edition from Harburn Hobbies.

A set of etched nameplates, arrows and depot plaques are included as well as a Limited Edition certificate giving full details of the prototype locomotive.
Price .95 (plus 50 P&P in the UK) available from Harburn Hobbies, 67 Elm Row, Edinburgh EH7 4AQ. Tel: 0131 556 3233 or email:
